Anita Swart

Anita Swart, age 64, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Seymour Crossing.

Anita was born to Bertha Mae Howard Stanley and Charles Stanley on March 9th 1959 in Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and her aunt Lavina Patterson. She is survived by several cousins.

Anita had been associated with Developmental Services, Inc. for the past 30 years and had many people over the years who cared about her and assisted her in her life. Anita loved crafts and was very talented at crocheting. She was always crocheting something and would sell items to individuals and at craft shows. She briefly taught crochet at Hobby Lobby. She was a great advocate for herself and others. She was a past member of the Arc of Bartholomew County. She had served on Human Rights Committees in the past. She will be missed by those who knew her.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Mudd Good Cemetery in Osgood, Indiana.
