Anna Mae Deaton

Anna Mae Deaton, age 73, a native of Hazard, KY and a resident of Crothersville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at her residence. She was born on October 30, 1947 to the late Estell Deaton and the late Mary Deaton.
Anna will forever be remembered as a feisty lady that loved flowers, hummingbirds, and family reunions. She enjoyed family reunions and baking German chocolate cake, pineapple upside down cake and peanut butter fudge.
She is survived by her two sons, Bobby Hornback and his wife Pam of Crothersville, Indiana and Scott Staley of Panama City, Florida. Three brothers, Chester Deaton of Reddington, Indiana, Billy Deaton and his wife Jessie of Uniontown, Indiana and Jerry Deaton and his wife Claire of Bedford, Indiana. Five grandchildren and Four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Sammy Deaton and Leonard Deaton. One sister, Hazel Pruitt and one sister in law, Joanie Deaton.
The family has chosen cremation.
