Barbara J. Capps

Barbara J. Capps, age 86 of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Seymour Crossing. Born February 6, 1931 in Seymour, she was the daughter of Sylvester and Helen (Jaynes) Anderson. On January 6, 1949, she married Albert Paul Capps, Sr.

Barbara enjoyed spending time with family, going to church, crocheting and listening to gospel music.

Survivors include her son, Albert Paul Capps, Jr of Seymour; grandchildren, Bryan (Melissa) Capps of Seymour, Bret (Jennifer) Capps of Rossville, IN, Bart Capps of Frankfort, IN, Melissa (Andrew) McComb, Mark (Haley Locke) Capps and Amanda (Branch) Schrader all of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Haley (Jordan) Hawn, Kate (Alex) Greeno, Branden Capps, Braden Capps, Brody Capps, Alex McComb, Mia Schrader, Maely Schrader, Lane Schrader and Scarlett Capps; one great-great-grandson, Javen Hawn.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She also had 16 siblings.

Services will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre in Seymour. Visitation will be from 11:00am until service time at the funeral home.
