Betty Mae Neal

Betty Mae Neal, age 88 of Seymour, passed away on March 13, 2017 at her home. She was born on April 11, 1928 in Trafalgar, Indiana to Joseph and Callie (Woods) Sexton. On February 1, 1946, she married the Rev. Henry E. Neal who passed away on August 6, 1996.

She was a member of the Spraytown Free Methodist Church where she was active with the sewing group and loved to hunt mushrooms, collect rocks, and bowling with the Over 55 league.

Survivors include her daughters, Rita Bates of Seymour, Betty Jean Stroh of Nevada and Rose Deaver of Seymour; brothers, Leroy Sexton and Joe (Fran) Sexton; sister, Naomi Ruth (Raymond) Lowe; grandchildren, Richard Ledbetter, Julie (Tony) Reichenba, Lori Davis, Tony Stroh, David Brooks and Sara (Ronnie) Meek; great-grandchildren, Faith Ledbetter, Cody (Erica) Reichenba, Brittany Reichenba, Bryiant Davis, Lindsey Austin, Morgan Davis, Caiden Stroh, Lakota Snyder, Isaiah Snyder, Jozlyn Brooks, Sophie Brooks, Kylie Brooks, Callie Meek, Cassie Meek, Patrick Miller, Michael Deaver, Ellie Meek, Aiden Hays, Brayden Davis, Joseph Chambers, Orion Reichenba, Fancy Parris, Jamison Stroh;

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sons, David and Johnny; brothers, Carl Sexton, Floyd Sexton; sisters, Mary Hopper, Lilly Kostek and Dorothy Sears; granddaughter, Heather Loman; grandson, Zachkary Reichenba.

Pastor. Jerry Van Kuiken Services will conduct services at 1:00pm on Thursday, March 16th at the Spraytown Free Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 12:00pm until service time at the church. Burial will follow services at the Spraytown Cemetery. Memorials can be made at the funeral home in memory of Betty to the Spraytown Free Methodist Church.
