Bruce Allen Eckler

Bruce Allen Eckler, age 63, a native of Covington, Kentucky and a resident of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 4, 2021.
He was born on April 15, 1958 to the late Herschel Eckler and the late Della (Smith) Eckler. Bruce was an excellent carpenter and loved construction. He took great pride in the things that he built. He will forever be remembered as a kind, friendly and generous man that loved helping others. During his time at the nursing home, Bruce made many friends and was a blessing to others always wanting to share whatever he had.
He is survived by his one brother, Richard Eckler of Jacksonville, Florida and two sisters, Barbara Marcum and her husband Doug of Laurel, Indiana and Lora Trueax of Brooksville, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Mike Eckler and Norman Eckler and two sisters, Sandy Cook and Molly Eckler.
The family has chosen cremation and a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
Woodlawn Family Funeral Center has been entrusted with the arrangements.
