Carolyn Ann Acton

Carolyn Ann Acton, age 73 of Clearwater, Florida and formerly of Seymour, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Sunrise on Old Meridian in Carmel. Born March 5, 1945 in Columbus, she was the daughter of Warren and Elberta (Powell) Roberts. On March 8, 1963 in Nashville, Indiana, she married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Tom Acton. Tom preceded her in death on October 12, 2011.

Carolyn was a 1963 graduate of Nashville High School. She had a successful career working in office management. Tom and she loved life together and enjoyed traveling on cruises. Carolyn was an avid Nascar fan and followed Brad Keselowski.

Survivors include her children, Stacy (David) Cartmel of Westfield and Troy (Carla) Acton of St. Paul, Indiana. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Caleb and Ian Cartmel, Victoria (Zeke) Walker, Kraig Martin, Alexondra Acton, and Ryan Acton; great-grandchildren, Elin and Colter Walker; one brother, Steve (Linda) Roberts of Greensburg; and nieces Courtney Clemons and Shannon Allegeier and nephew Bryon Roberts.

At this time, no formal services are scheduled. Memorials can be made through the funeral home or church to the Carmel United Methodist Church mission “Hamilton County Kids Coats”.
