Christopher Michael Weyant

Christopher “Chris” Michael Weyant was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin. He left this world suddenly June 10, 2021 at the young age of 40.
Christopher was born to the late Gary and Marleen Weyant on March 20, 1981 in Valparaiso Indiana. In 1988 Christopher moved to Seymour, Indiana at the age of 6 where he discovered his love of fishing and baseball. He spent many of his summer days on any lake, river or pond he could find fishing with his dad. When he wasn’t fishing you could find him on the baseball diamond, where he became known as “Critter.”

Chris had a big heart. He had a great laugh and a smile that reached his eyes when he found enjoyment in life. Most of his enjoyment came from being surrounded by family and friends.

Chris is proceeded in death by his father, Gary Weyant. His maternal grandmother, Catherine Corso and his paternal grandparents Harry and Louise Weyant.

He is survived by his mother Marleen Weyant of Seymour. One sister, Jennifer (John) Hines of Indianapolis and three nieces Emaleigh, Abigail and Madison, who he adored. Chris leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends as well as his cousin Jeremy Blatz whom he loved more like a brother.

Christopher will be missed greatly by his family and friends but anyone who knew him would know he would want everyone to carry on and find the joy in every day.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre with services beginning at 3:00 PM.
