Dallas Eugene Reed

Dallas “Eugene” Reed, age 59 of Medora, passed away at I.U. Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis Thursday, December 7, 2017 with his family surrounding his bedside. Born May 31, 1958 in Seymour, he was the son of Junior and Alice (Isley) Reed.

Dallas could often be seen playing poker with family. He also loved going to casinos, fishing, mushroom hunting, swimming and junking. He also enjoyed driving around and spending time with family and friends raising hell

Survivors include his mother, Alice Reed of Brownstown; fiancé, Jennifer Butler of Medora; children, David and Kurtis Turner of Butlerville, Eugene (Chasity) Reed of Medora, William Burrell of Bedford, April and Amy Burrell both of Medora; grandchildren, Sara VanArsdale, Skyler Turner, Jordan Burrell, Addie Reed, Brynleigh Reed, Waylon Burrell, Kayden Burrell and Damian Root; siblings, Darrell (Debra) Reed of Vallonia, Darlene (Rossie) Jones of Indianapolis, Deb (Bud) Weddle of Brownstown and Drew (Sandy) Reed of Seymour. Dallas also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Dallas was preceded in death by his father, Junior Reed and brother Dennis Reed.

Kelly Reed will conduct funeral services at 1:00pm on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre in Seymour. Visitation will be on Monday at the funeral home from 11:00am until service time. Burial will follow services at Houston Cemetery.
