Dorothy Mae (Bush) Hall

Dorothy Mae (Bush) Hall, age 89, a native and resident of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus. She was born on May 14, 1934 to the late Lawrence Bush and the late Gretna (Cochran) Bush. Dorothy was a faithful member of Zoah Christian Church for over 50 years. She will forever be remembered as a true lady, selfless, well kept, and as someone who cared deeply for people. She was always concerned about the well being of her family and friends. She loved sending and receiving cards, never forgetting birthdays, anniversaries and other special dates. She was an excellent cook and made the best homemade mac and cheese. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her and each life that she touched in her own special way.

Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Mike Hall and his wife Linda of New Castle, Pennsylvania, and Kenny Hall and his wife Darlene of Pekin, Indiana, and one son in law, Ronald Pulliam of Scottsburg, Indiana. Six grandchildren, Sarah Pulliam - Johnson, Daniel Pulliam, Steven Hall, Keith Hall, Shelby Lain Whitaker and Ridge Hall. Eight great grandchildren, Kailee Hall, Alex Hall, Niko Hall, Sebastian Pulliam, Lucas Pulliam, Kason Jenkins, Abigail Jenkins, Ben Johnson and Blair Whitaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of over 44 years, Robert S. Hall, one daughter, Wanda Pulliam, one brother, Roy Bush, one sister, Agnes Amos and one grandson, Bobby Gene Hall.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Christensen - Hoagland Family Funeral Home, 80 N. 1st Street, Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation will resume on Monday, March 25, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Zoah Christian Church with funeral services beginning at 12:00 PM. She will be laid to rest at Zoah Cemetery.
