Goldie Pearl Comer Robbins, 92, of Scottsburg, died Thursday, May 26 2011 at her residence near Leota. She was born August 11 1918 in Scottsburg to Albert Comer & Lola Shields Comer who are deceased and she was married December 13 1936 to John M Robbins Sr. who also preceded her in death August 23 1994.

Mrs. Robbins was a member of Bethel Baptist of Leota, member of Garden Club of Scottsburg and the Homemakers Club; a homemaker, she had been employed 7 years at Scott Memorial Hospital as a CNA, 7 years with Scott County Home Health, 7 years with Division of Family & Children, & in the floral dept of JayC Food Store, she was a FTD florist, & a caregiver for foster children.

Survivors: sons John M Robbins Jr. & wife Sharon Lea, Kelley Robbins & wife Jean, Dennis Robbins & wife Pam, Daniel Robbins; daughters Deanna Trowbridge & husband Ronald, Sharon Prall & husband Thomas; sisters Berniece Robbins, Ruth Johnson & Emma Ellis; 12 grandchildren; Jennifer Donnell & Duane, Lea Ann Callico & Ed, Bryan Trowbridge & Terri, Kari Taulbee & Mark, Gary Trowbridge, Sheri Fraser & Kevin, Mark Prall & Leslie, Katie Sawin & Jared, Kyle Robbins, Michael Robbins & Christine, Melissa Hillen & Damian, Brooke Mello & Sean; 22 great grandchildren; Dejiah Callico, John Callico, Halie Callico, Becky Trowbridge, John Trowbridge, Jessica Rayburn, Robin Trowbridge, Andrew Fraser, Sarah Fraser, Ryan Fraser, Anna Prall, Luke Prall, Finn Sawin, Nathan Robbins, Joshua Robbins, Hannah Robbins, Rachel Robbins, Elizabeth Robbins, Emma Hillen, Max Hillen, Allie Mello, Noah Mello; 1 great great grandchild, Lane Rayburn.She was also preceded in death by her brothers Grant Comer, Glen Comer & Bob Comer & sisters Mary Woodruff, Betty Floyd & Gladys Berna.

Funeral Service: 1:30PM, Sunday, May 29 2011 at Bethel Baptist of Leota church. Visitation: 4PM - 8 PM, Saturday, May 28 2011 at Stewart & Hoagland Funeral Home & 12:30PM-1:30PM, Sunday at the church, with Pastor David Berna & Pastor Bern Kiser officiating. Burial in Bethel Cemetery, Leota IN.
