Ida Mae Griffin, 77, died September 7 2011 in Florida. She was born in Scottsburg IN February 23 1934 to Harold & Ladie Mae Blume. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Jack W Griffin; sons Charles Baker & Jim (Debbie) Baker; stepdaughter Jennifer (Patrick) Maher; grandchildren Chuck Amanda, Andrea; great grandchildren Joshua, Nathan & Emily; and her precious cats Rosie & Cloie. While living in Indiana, Ida Mae was the originator of Toys from the Phantom Santa that provided toys for needy children. She moved to Apollo Beach Florida in l985, sharing the Real Estate business & traveling the world with her husband. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, 9-10-2011, 4pm-6pm, at Zipperer's Funeral Home in Ruskin Florida. Visitation: NOON - 1:30 PM, Thursday, September 15 2011 at Stewart & Hoagland Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 1:30 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.
