Janet S Wilson

Janet S. Wilson, age 65 of Seymour, passed away at Schneck Medical Center at 2:45am on Thursday, May 21, 2015 with her family by her bedside. Born December 12, 1949 in Columbus, she was the daughter of Orval and Marjorie B. (Edwards) Cooley. On September 25 1989, she married Fred Wilson. She was a baptized member of Revival Full Gospel Tabernacle and a lifetime member of the VFW Women’s Auxillary. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts and shared that with her children and grandchildren. She was an Elvis fan and always enjoyed it when he came to the nursing home to sing for her and her friends. She loved spending time with family, cooking and could always be found with a cup of coffee in her hand. She leaves behind five children, Larry (BJ) Anderson, Jr of Seymour, Helen (Jody) Anderson-Tracey of Seymour, Eric (Donna) Anderson of Perry, FL, Samantha (Creighton) Walker of Seymour and Terry (Kaley) Cossell, Jr. of Seymour. Janet also had five siblings, Ronald (Becky) Cooley of Seymour, Darrell Cooley of Taylorsville, Donald Cooley of Indianapolis, Jerry (Linda) Cooley of Seymour and Diana Woolridge of Columbus. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three great-grandchildren. Pastor Eli Johnson will conduct funeral services on Saturday, May 23rd at 1:00pm at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre at 311 Holiday Sq. Rd. Seymour. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Acme Cemetery.
