Jeffrey Andrew Storey

Jeffrey Andrew Storey, 70, of Seymour, IN passed away at 11:00 pm on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus, IN.
Born August 19, 1947 in Seymour, IN, he was the son of Richard and Kathryn (Fields) Storey, who are both deceased.
Jeff was a 1965 Seymour High School graduate and attended Indiana University.
On December 23, 1968, he married Mary Garvey. Though divorced, the two remained close.
Jeff served in the Army during the Vietnam war. He was a military policeman, stationed in Korea. After being honorably discharged, we went to work in the family business, Storey Oil. In 1981, he purchased the local Ford Dealership and it became Storey Ford Lincoln Mercury, and operated it for 22 years. Upon selling the dealership, he went to Iraq for one tour, and Afghanistan for 2 tours as a civilian contractor. Jeff was a member of the Creek, a non-denominational Christian Church in Indianapolis.
Survivors include two sons, Todd (Nikki) Storey of Seymour, IN, Jason (Tara Johnson) Storey of Seymour, IN; one daughter Adrienne (Vance) Malan; seven grandchildren, Brock Storey, Zachary Storey and Lucas Storey of Seymour, IN, Maddie Storey and Judson Storey of Vallonia, IN, Chase Malan and Bryce Malan of Nashville, IN.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Mike Storey.
Mr. Storey has requested to be cremated, with no ceremony.
A memorial gathering will be from 6 pm until 9 pm on Friday, May 11, 2018 @ the Seymour American Legion. Services have been entrusted with Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre www.woodlawnfamilyfuneral.com
