Jimmy Ray Carroll

Jimmy Ray Carroll , age 73 of Seymour, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Seymour Crossing. Born February 5, 1945 in Middlesboro, Kentucky he was the son of Otto and Myrtle (Kimberly) Carroll.

Jimmy had worked many years in law enforcement in Phoenix, Arizona and was a self employed mechanic. He volunteered for the Lima Ohio Fire Department. He enjoyed working on cars, racing, fishing and camping. Lately enjoyed coloring and drawing.

Survivors include his children, Brandon Carroll of Bryan, Ohio, Elizabeth (Lonnie) Cole of Morehead, Kentucky, James (Star) Carroll of Morehead, Kentucky and Jimmy Neeley of Columbus, Ohio; 14 grandchildren, Brandon Carroll II, Hayley Henderson, Dallas Carroll, Lonnie Cole Jr., Eric Cole, Star Caudill, Stephanie Cook, Kelly Rowe, Sierra Cook, Alisha Carroll, Jeremy Neeley, Jessica Williams, Jacob Neeley and Elizabeth Neeley; 12 great grandchildren; 3 siblings, Junior, Betty and Joyce; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two siblings Tommy and Ruby.
