Joe Dwayne Parks

Joe Dwayne Parks, 80 of Seymour passed away Monday, September 17, 2018 at Forrest Creek Village in Indianapolis with his daughter by his side.
Born May 17, 1937 in Gleason, Tennessee.
Joe enjoyed riding his bicycle and mowing the lawn. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served in Vietnam.
Survivors include his children Mary Templin and husband David of Indianapolis, Brenda Terry of Norman and Jerald Terry and wife Evelyn of Scottsburg; his grandchildren, Susan Luka, Louis, Andrea, Chelsea, Ashley, Lana Sylvia, Shannon and Mark; twenty-one great-grandchildren; siblings and many nieces and nephews including Larry and his double first cousin Ronnie.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents; the mother of his children, Susie Napier.
A celebration of life will be held at 5:00pm Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre. Visitation will be after 3:00pm until time of service at the funeral home. Friends and family can leave online condolences at www.woodlawnfamilyfuneral.com
