John David Wehr

John David Wehr age 58 of Seymour, Indiana passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at IU Health Methodist Hospital. Born February 24, 1962 in Wheeling, West Virginia he was the son of Vernon and Marjorie (Saffle) Wehr
He served his country proudly in the United States Army. John was a truck driver for over 30 years and loved the roads, especially riding his Harley. He loved fishing, hanging out with his friends and going to the casino. John was known as a “straight shooter”. He meant what he said and said what he meant. He had a soft side and would help anyone who needed him.
He is survived by his wife, Denise (Barnett) Wehr of Seymour, Indiana; his two sons, Nathan Wehr of Clinton, Indiana and Michael Barnett of Seymour, Indiana; his daughter, Melissa Barnett of Clarksville, Indiana; his brothers, William Wehr and his wife Nancy of Newport, Indiana and Francis Wehr and his wife Christine of Ohio; his sisters, Rebecca Hughes of Ohio, Rose Brothers of Ohio and Barbara Fair of Boca Raton, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
