Jon Scott Ray

Jon Scott Ray, age 63, a native of Seymour, Indiana and a resident of North Vernon, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at his residence. He was born on May 31, 1960 to the late Charles Ray and the late Maxine (Durham) Ray.  He was a member of Easyville Pentecostal Church. Jon was an amazing, outgoing, loving, hardworking man that loved life and lived it to he fullest. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved making people laugh. Even on your worst day, he could make you smile. He enjoyed working on cars and sitting on the porch watching the squirrels. Above all, he loved his family, especially his grand and great grand kids. He is survived by his two sons, Charles Ray and his fiance Alicia Bogard of Seymour, Indiana and William Knigh of North Vernon, Indiana. Two daughters, Amanda Ray and her fiance Robert Poole of Seymour, Indiana and Brandi Knigh of North Vernon, Indiana.  One sister, Rhonda Ray of North Vernon, Indiana and the mother of his children, Robin Ray Stout of Seymour, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents.

I keeping withe his wishes, the family has chosen cremation and a Celebration of Life will be held at Easyville Pentecostal Church at a later date.
