Josephine (Harris) Stout

Josephine (Harris) Stout, age 66 of Seymour, passed away on Tuesday, July 8th at 8:22pm at her home. Born November 11, 1947 in Cawood, KY, she was the daughter of Oliver Dallas and Leona (Swanson) Harris. In 1988 in Kentucky, she married Donald Stout who passed away in 1999. She was retired from Cosco after 15 years and had worked at a book factory in Louisville. Josephine loved to try her luck at the gambling boat and also enjoyed fishing and playing bingo. Survivors include three daughters, Marsha, Bonnie and Lynn: a brother John (Sherry) Harris of Crothersville; three sisters, Kathleen Moffatt of Seymour, Allene Marsh of Uniontown and Jerryleen (Roger) Engle of Seymour. Josephine also had several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother Tip Harris. No services are planned and cremation will take place. Memorials can be given to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home. Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre is handling the arrangements.
