Judy Lyons age 66 of Brownstown, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2017 at her home. Born October 31, 1950 in Red Boiling Springs, TN, she was the daughter of Willard Leo Lyons and Oma Mae (Jones) Lyons Stuller.

She graduated from New Palestine High School in 1969. Judy was a member of the Medora Christian Church. She enjoyed crafts, Indian artifacts, making people laugh.

Survivors include her daughter, Rena (Jeff) Wagenknecht of St. Petersburg, FL; sisters, Willa Nixon of Brownstown and Janie (Bob) Branaman of Medora; grandchildren, Janzen Higgins, Shalie Wrighthouse, Michelle Cox, Cody Kopp; great-grandchildren, Shilo, Adilyn and Brentley. Judy also had numerous nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jerry Higgins; granddaughter, Chelsea Moore; siblings, Carolyn Franke, James D. Lyons and Coy Lyons.

Services will be at 7:00pm on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Medora Christian Church. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until service time. Burial will be on Wednesday at 11:00am at White River Valley Cemetery. Memorials can be made thru the funeral home to the Judy Lyons Memorial Fund.
