Larry "Barney" Davis

Larry A. "Barney" Davis, age 74 of Seymour, passed away on Wednesday July 20, 2016 at Schneck Medical Center. Born at home on February 19, 1942 in Jackson County, Indiana, he was the son of Harry Millard and Violet E. (Bannister) Davis, who preceded him in death.

Larry had worked for Jackson County and later retired from the City of Seymour. He enjoyed farming, tractors, music, singing and playing his autoharp. Larry was a great singer and could sing with the best.

Survivors include his siblings; Jack L. (Geneva) Davis of Seymour, Norman (Alene) Davis of Seymour, Gary M. (Debbie) Davis of Columbus and Nalana S. Fields (Gene) Seymour; his aunt June Moody of Scottsburg and several nieces and nephews.
