Marlene G. Robbins

November 3, 1941 — March 1, 2018

Marlene G. Robbins, age 76 of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis. Born November 3, 1941 in Seymour, she was the daughter of Fred and Cathryn (Roberts) Ollis. On June 27, 1964 in Seymour, she married Larry Robbins.

Marlene worked for over 40 years in the ministry alongside her husband currently serving at the Seymour Harvest Church. She enjoyed making crafts, sewing and reading.

Survivors include her husband of almost 54 years, Larry; children, Laura (Michael) Stewart of Goodlettsville, TN, Missy (Rich) McNealy of Seymour and Matt (Lynn T) Robbins of Louisville; sister, Glenda Wendling of Seymour and brother, Loren “Don” (Judy) Ollis of Norman; grandchildren, Sarah and Shelby Stewart, Michael Foist, Jordan (Eric) Day and Roxanne Robbins; great-grandchildren, Jentry Cash and Maisyn Day.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Don “Butch” Wendling.

Services will be at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Seymour Harvest Church. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the church and from 10:00am on Tuesday until service time. Burial will follow services at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemtery. Memorials can be made thru the funeral home to the Seymour Harvest Church.
