Martin Lowe

December 19, 1959 — April 28, 2019

Martin Lowe, 59 of Medora, passed away Monday, April 28, 2019 at home. Born December 19, 1959 in Columbus, Indiana, he was the son of Raymond and Ruth (Sexton) Lowe. In April of 2012, he married Morgan Marie Persinger.

Martin was better known as Marty. He was a loving son, a wonderful husband and an amazing father to Kaleb and his fur babies that consist of one pot belly pig, 3 horses, 4 ferrets and 18 dogs. Marty was known for being an Alice Cooper tribute artist. He performed anywhere from Fear Fair to his man cave. This was a man whose laughter was contagious with a heart so big that he would help his 2 legged friends to his 4 legged friends. Marty loved to sing rock songs and would put on one heck of a show in his younger years. The last few years, however, he fell in love with country music.

Marty volunteered at Red Sky Rescue helping out to make the Jackson County dogs feel wanted while being a part time handy man. He like to race go carts, did Christian Clowning and worked with Fear Fair. He did impressions of Elvis and Alice Cooper. He liked to garden and go to church and study the bible.

He worked 19 years at Cosco and 16 years at NTN. He was a member of the Easyville Church of Jesus Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Morgan; parents Raymond L. Lowe, Jr and Naomi “Ruth” Sexton-Lowe; son, Kaleb Cassetty; sister, Angela Renee Lowe-Tatom; brother David Russell “Russ” Lowe; 2 nieces, 2 nephews and several great nieces and nephews and many cousins, aunts and uncles. Marty also leaves behind his fur babies, Gomez, Asa, Little Sister, Sadie, Brick, Hoss, Azar, Drat, Cowgirl, Sweet Pea, Muppet, Girly, Rocky, Baby, Ringo, Dingo, Meatball, and Little’n.

Marty was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray Lowe, Sr. and Rosalie Harris Lowe, Joseph Conley Sexton and Callie Lucinda Wood Sexton; his second wife, Teresa Lowe, as well as several aunts and uncles.
