Mary Beatrice Deal, 95, of Scottsburg, died Wednesday, June 8 2011 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville IN. She was born January 23 1916 in Harrison County IN to Charles Draper & Ella Massie Draper, who are deceased.

Bea was married to Melbourne Deal who preceded her in death along with her daughter Judy Deal Burke Andrews, brothers Melvin Draper, Charles Draper, James Draper, Floyd Draper, & sister Martha Draper. Bea was retired from Scottsburg schools; was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Scottsburg & the Homemakers Club. Survivors: daughter, Sheilah Williams & Art of Lexington; 6 grandchildren; Spencer Williams & Hannah of Scottsburg, Matt Williams of Scottsburg, Kristen Smith & Brad of Taylorsville, Tom Burke of Brooklyn NY, Jay Burke & Sharon of Charlestown, Rick Burke & Jan of Sellersburg; 10 great grandchildren & 6 great great grandchildren.

Visitation: 4 PM - 8 PM, Friday, June 10 2011 at Stewart & Hoagland Funeral Home, & 10 AM - 11 AM, Saturday, June 11 2011 at First Southern Baptist Church in Scottsburg.

Funeral Service: 11 AM, Saturday, June 11 2011 at the church, with Pastor Dan Jackson officiating & burial in Scottsburg Cemetery.
