Mary Josphine (Ferguson) Dowling

Mary Jo Dowling, 88, of Commiskey, Indiana, died at 2:02 p.m., Thursday, April 27th, 2023, at her home.

Born November 9, 1934 in Columbus, IN she was the daughter of Clarence and Gertrude

Ferguson.

She married Clarence Lee Dowling, Sr. on November 11, 1950.

She was a member of the Church of God a Worldwide Association.

Mrs. Dowling was a GED recipient at age 70 and was the co-owner of Dowling Greenhouse for

many years.

Survivors are one brother Dempsey(Polly) Ferguson; one son, Clarence (Sherry) Dowling Jr.,

three daughters; Debbie (Chuck) Crane, Tami Harvey, Becki (Terry) Trisler and numerous

grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son Larry, three sisters: Laverne,

Martha, Thelma, one brother Clarence “Bud” Ferguson, and son-in-law Louis Harvey.

Cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
