Matthew Lee Jones

Matthew Lee Jones, age 48 of Crothersville, passed away Sunday July 31, 2016 at his home. Born December 8, 1967 in Seymour, he was the son of Ray E. and Carolyn S. (Engleking) Jones.

Matthew was a member of New Beginning’s Church of God in Seymour. He enjoyed country music, hunting, fishing, camping, riding four-wheeler and working on small engines.

Survivors include his Parents Ray and Carolyn Jones of Crothersville; children, Amanda Muncy of Greensburg, Christian Jones, Aaron Jones and Brandon Freeman all of Crothersville; siblings, Linda (Larry) Muncy of Crothersville, Teresa (Anthony) Robinson of Deputy, Ray A. (Della) Jones of Seymour, Eddie (Shannon) Jones of Paris Crossings and Sherman (Tammy) Jones of Hayden; his six grandchildren, Jaylyn, Josie, Jesslyn, Aiden, Olivia and Addy and several nieces and nephews.

Matthew was preceded in death his brother Timothy Joe Jones on May 18, 2016.

Pastor Teddy Conn and Pastor Jerry Ballard will conduct funeral services at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre in Seymour. Visitation will be on Wednesday after 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM. Burial at Cana Cemetery in Paris Crossings will follow services.
