Nanci Ann (Gearhart) Setser

Nanci Ann (Gearhart) Setser, age 74, a native of Columbus, Indiana and a resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Covered Bridge Health Campus. Sher was born on March 3, 1947 to the late Carl Gearhart and the late Alta (Brinker) Abney.
Nanci enjoyed home decorating, gardening and spending time with her family. She was an excellent cook and the family will forever treasure the memories of her cherry pie, oyster dressing and traditional Thanksgiving meal.
She is survived by her husband of over 33 years, John Setser of Seymour, Indiana, seven sons, Kevin Blair and his wife Terri of Columbus, Indiana, Troy Blair and his wife Roxy of Columbus, Indiana, Tony Mosier and his wife Terry of Franklin, Indiana, Ed Copeland of Crothersville, Indiana, Larry Copeland of Columbus, Indiana, Billy Setser of Bloomington, Indiana, Jeff Setser of Bloomington, Indiana and Jeff Setser of Bloomington, Indiana.
Two Brothers, Richard Gearhart of Columbus, Indiana and James Abney of Columbus, Indiana. One sister, Geannie Abney of Franklin, Indiana. Eleven Grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Lauri Mosier and four brothers, Ken Gearhart, Jack Gearhart, Lee Gearhart and Dean Gearhart.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Rev, Gary Dyre officiating. She will be laid to rest at Dougherty Cemetery.
The family requests memorials be direct to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
