Nevaeh Aleece Law, age 14 of Brownstown, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018 unexpectedly. Born September 5, 2003 in Columbus, she was the daughter of Timmy Kerkhof and Torre Collins.
A freshman at Brownstown Central High School, Nevaeh was active in Kingdom Kids program at the Cornerstone Community Church. Nevaeh loved playing softball and listening to music, dancing and singing. She was very “fashion forward” and loved her clothes, shoes, boots and was the next future Instagram model. Nevaeh loved hair and make-up. She was fun loving and free spirited, loved spending time with her friends and family and like ALWAYS used the word “LIKE” and was always WINNING!!!
Left to cherish Nevaeh’s memory are her parents Torre (D.J.) Collins of Brownstown and Timmy (Debra) Kerkhof of Seymour; siblings, Maddie Kerkhof, Mikel Bruemmer, Artema Barnard, Josiah Abel and Logan Collins; grandparents, Linda (Rick) Caswell, Timothy Kerkhof, Jackie Johnson, Donald (Angie) Collins and Richard (Sherry) Abel all of Seymour. Nevaeh also had numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Nevaeh was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jerry Law.
Services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Cornerstone Community Church. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and from 12:00pm until service time at the church. Burial will follow at White Creek Methodist Cemetery in Columbus. Memorials can be made at the funeral home to the Nevaeh Law Memorial Fund.
