Patrick Pershing Warinner, Jr

Patrick P. Warinner, age 69 of Seymour, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at his home. Born February 10, 1948 in Passaic, NJ, he was the son of Patrick Warinner Sr. and Evelyn Mary (Wientenberg) Warinner. On November 24, 1973 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Seymour, Patrick married Susan M. Elsner who passed away on April 1, 2002.

Patrick graduated from Crothersville High School in 1966 and attended Hanover College. He worked at Scott Manufacturing for 40 years and then for Valeo Sylvania retiring in 2013. Patrick enjoyed taking photos, researching family genealogy and reading and studying U.S. history. He was an avid IU basketball fan and enjoyed watching his great nieces play basketball.

Survivors include his sister, Ethel R. Perry of Columbus; brother-in-laws, Tim (Sandy) Elsner, Tom Elsner and Pete (Kelley) Elsner; sister-in-law, Lisa (Dennis) Runge; nieces, Phillis (Alan) Ballard and Rhiannon (Troy) Napier; great nieces, Brooke and Britney Ballard.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Susan.

Services will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre in Seymour with visitation starting at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery following services. Memorials can be made at the funeral home to the Patrick Warinner Memorial Fund.
