R. B. Mccollum

R. B. McCollum, age 80, a native of Clay County, Kentucky and a resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Schneck Medical Center. He was the son of the late Dennis McCollum and the late Sophie (Dezarn) McCollum. He was a Christian by Faith. R. B. was a very private man that enjoyed history, watching documentaries, Gaither Gospel Music, traveling and driving his car. He will forever be remembered as a loving, caring generous man that loved his family dearly and always put them first.
He is survived by his two nieces, Teresa Lee and her husband Ken of Richmond, Kentucky and Lynn Miller of Greenwood, Indiana. One nephews, Larry Jarvis and his wife Brenda of Fairfield, Ohio. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Everett McCollum, Donald McCollum and Basil McCollum. Three sisters, Lillie Mae Jarvis, Mona Hurd and Glada Jackson. One nephew, Terry Jarvis.
In keeping with his wishes, the family has chosen cremation and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
