Randy Burton

Randy Lee Burton, age 58 of Seymour, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Schneck Medical Center. Born October 27, 1958 in Columbus, he was the son of James and Phyllis (Hatfield) Burton.

Randy had worked as a truck driver for Rumpkee for over 15 years and his last employment was for Seymour Tubing 2004-2005. He graduated from Columbus East High School in 1977 and attended Hayden Baptist Church. Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, being outdoors and horseback riding. He also loved to watch NASCAR races and monster trucks.

He is survived by his daughters, Angel (Jeff) Wright and Christy (Richard) Little; sister, Donna Lockherd; caretakers, Jennifer (Mike) Campbell, SuAnn Vancleve and Chris Gambrel, four grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Randy also had two nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Nancy Hibbs and Terry Purtlebaugh.

Pastor Ronnie Plumer will conduct services will be at 2:00pm on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Hayden Cemetery. Memorials can be made at the funeral home to the Randy L. Burton Memorial Fund.
