Rikki Joe Burke

Rikki Joe Burke Sr, age 40, a native and resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at his residence. He was born on January 11, 1983 and was the son of Harold Burke of Seymour, Indiana and Debbie Dover of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Rikki will forever be remembered as a kind, loving, outgoing guy that loved life. Rikki stood out in a crowd, never really cared what other's opinions were of him and made the most out of every situation that he was in. He never left a room without passing on an addictive smile and a huge heart with it that would help anyone that needed him.

Even though he did not get to see his family everyday, he still deeply loved and cherished them all. He loved children, especially his grand children.

He is survived by his parents, four sons, Gavin McCann of California, Rikki Burke Jr. of Freetown, Indiana, Sawyer Burke of Seymour, Indiana and Brayden Burke of Seymour, Indiana. Three daughters, Kirsten Anderson of Brownstown, Indiana, Chaley McCann of Indianapolis, Indiana and Cheney McCann of Indianapolis, Indiana. One sister, Cassandra Dean and her husband Eric of Indianapolis, Indiana. One grandchild, Rylah Anderson.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 11. 2023 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Christensen Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Bro. Brien Stout officiating. Friends are invited to leave condolence messages for the family at www.christensenfamilyfuneral.com
