Robert Edwin Huckleberry

January 11, 1938 — April 19, 2022

Robert Edwin "Huck" Huckleberry, age 84, a native and resident of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at his residence. Huck was a longtime member of Little York Methodist Church, a sixty year member of the F&AM Lodge 651, and Valley Of Indianapolis Scottish Rite. He was an employee of Cummins and retired after over forty two years of employment. He will forever be remembered as a caring and selfless man that would give you the shirt off his back. He had an ornery sense of humor and would always let people know that not only was his middle name "trouble", but he was one of the "Mayors of Little York". He loved sweets and was a collector of knives, coins and arrowheads. He enjoyed football, NASCAR and recently got a Tony Stewart autograph. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him and each life that he touched in his own special way.
He is survived by his life companion of the last 19 years, Carolyn Lois (Swartz) Lamaster of Scottsburg, Indiana, two nieces, Luann Harsin of Scottsburg, Indiana and Vickie Jo Hall Madden of Connersville, Indiana. Two great nieces, Nicki Hamilton and her husband Alex of Floyd Knobs, Indiana and Mindy Kirk and her husband Ross of New Albany, Indiana.
