Sammie Lou Jester

Sammie Lou Jester, 78 of Norman, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at her residence. Born May 6, 1941, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Joe Smith and Dorothy Jester.

Sammie retired from RCA after 39 years. She was a member of Houston Christian Church. Sammie always volunteered at the church and in the Houston Community and she enjoyed spending time with her friends. She also loved her dogs, Little Bit, Trouble, and Harley.

Survivors include her sons John Seal (Peggy) of Seymour, Ralph Jester (Dana) of Freetown; her stepson, James Jester (Theresa) of Lafayette; two sisters; one brother; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, James Jester.

A celebration of life will be held from 11am until 1pm Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Houston Christian Church. Memorials can be made in memory of Sammie Lou Jester to the Houston Christian Church or Houston Christian School.
