Thomas D. Hickman

Thomas D. “Tom” Hickman, age 57 of Seymour, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at his home. Born December 22, 1957 in Coalmont, Indiana, he was the son of James Hickman, Sr. and Lillian Mae (Crist) Hickman. On January 20, 1978 in Jasonville, he married Mary Ricketts. Tom worked at NTN Driveshaft for 14 years as a lead maintenance technician. He had previously worked at Impact Forge for 13 years. Tom enjoyed gardening, driving his Razor around, and spending time with family. Survivors include his wife Mary; son, David Hickman of Norman; daughter, Camby Stewart of Seymour; grandkids, Dena Hull, Lillian Hull, Cynthia Johnson, Justice Hickman, and Cierra Hickman. Tom also had several nieces and nephews who survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother James Hickman and his sister Carol Lynch. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until 6:00pm on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre at 311 Holiday Sq. Rd. in Seymour. Services will be on Saturday at 1:00pm at the funeral home with burial to follow at Spraytown Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Don & Dana Cancer Center in care of the funeral home.
