William "Bill" Frederick Phillips

William "Bill" Frederick Phillips, age 78, a lifelong resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Schneck Medical Center. He was born on March 16, 1945 to the late John William Phillips and the late Kathryn (Barnes) Phillips. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and worked as a custodian at Schenck Medical Center for over 21 years. Bill was a very friendly man that would do anything he could to help someone in need and was quite the jokester. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting and his little dog "Cricket".

He is survived by his two sons, Richard "Rick" Phillips and his wife Dorinda "Dodi" of Seymour, Indiana and Brad Phillips and his wife Anna pf Seymour, Indiana. One daughter, Teresa Dyer and her husband Jeff of Crothersville, Indiana. One sister, Polly Hook and her husband Michael of North Vernon, Indiana. One grand daughter, Peyton Phillips and a host of nieces , nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Hazel (Dean) Phillips, one brother, John L. Phillips and one sister, Susie Cody.

In keeping with his wishes, the family has chosen cremation and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
