William "Bill R. Pulliam

William R. “Bill” Pulliam, age 95 of Madison, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at The Waters of Clifty Falls. Born May 20, 1920 in Bowling Green, KY, he was the son of Herman and Zue (Chapman) Pulliam. In August of 1947, he married Selma Canada who preceded him in death in 2004. Bill had attended New Bethel Church in Chelsea. He retired in 1984 from Rexnord and worked as a welder. Bill enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include children, Norma (Bill) Ponder of Kentucky, Martha Wilson of Seymour, Jacqueline (Kenny) Adams of Hanover, Nancy Hardin of Hanover and Cindy Suter of Madison. Bill also has a brother, Wilburn (Barbara) Pulliam of Scottsburg and Louise (Oscar) Bear of Madison; 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; wife Selma; siblings, Harold, Freddie, Genevieve and Wayne; and one grandson, Jared Watterson. Services will be at 1:00pm Wednesday, June 10th at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre at 2800 Michigan Road. Visitation will be from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Grandview Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Hospice Jennings County or to the Mascular Degeneration Foundation.
