Yolanda G. Mcdole

Yolanda G. “Yogi” McDole, age 51 of Seymour, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Columbus Regional Hospital after battling diabetes. Born April 10, 1962 in Carrollton, KY, she was the daughter of Bobby Gene McDole and Celia Alice (Elwood) Shouse. Yogi graduated in 1982 from Carroll County High School in Carrollton, KY. Until she was unable due to diabetes, she had worked at Aisin USA in Seymour. She attended Seymour Christian Church and loved to do crafts. She would make gift baskets for friends to giveaway. Survivors include her mother, Celia of Shelbyville, KY; brothers, Dwight (Judy) McDole of Franklin, KY and Orville (Barbara) Morgan of Shelbyville, KY; friends from Seymour, Tammy Baker, Sharon Hurtt, Tammy Doty, Vicki Whitson, Mary Beth Elkins, Ilse Schiffer and Connie Wills. Yogi also had several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Yogi’s life will be held on Thursday, May 7th at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre at 311 Holiday Sq. Rd. in Seymour. Friends can visit at the funeral home from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Thursday. In Yogi’s memory, friends can make donations at the funeral home to the Children’s Diabetes Foundation.
