Angela Kay Crowe

January 4, 1963 — April 25, 2025

Lexington, Indiana

Angela Kay Jent Crowe, a cherished soul and a loving matriarch, graced this world with her vibrant presence from January 4, 1963, until her passing on April 25, 2025, at Norton Brownsboro in Louisville, Kentucky. Born in the quaint town of Seymour, Indiana, Angela embodied a spirit that was both fiercely sassy and beautifully nurturing.

An alumna of Scottsburg High School, class of 1981, Angela carried a sense of pride in her appearance, always presenting herself with grace and poise. Her commitment to looking well put together was but a reflection of her meticulous nature—a trait that shone through in every aspect of her life. In her heart, she was fiercely protective of her family, willing to sacrifice her own needs for the sake of the happiness of others. She had a unique gift for uplifting those around her, encouraging everyone to be the best version of themselves.

Angela wore many hats across her life's journey but found her greatest joy in being a mother and grandmother. Her love for her children and grandchildren was boundless, resonating in every playful moment shared and every obstacle overcome together. The echoes of laughter she fostered will forever linger in the hearts of those she loved most. She found delight in the simplest of pleasures, whether it was tuning in to heartfelt tunes by Michael Bolton or indulging in cinematic adventures featuring Mel Gibson. When cozying up on a chilly evening, you would find her nestled in her beloved fuzzy socks, a testament to her warm-hearted spirit.

She leaves behind a legacy steeped in love and family. Angela is survived by her devoted sons: David Crowe and his wife Brianna of Kent, Indiana; Joseph Crowe and his wife Rebecca of Kent, Indiana; her beloved daughters, Amber Stickles and her husband Ledger of Brownstown, Indiana; Dakota Beutel and her husband Dylan of Underwood, Indiana; as well as her cherished sisters, Debbie Crowe of Scottsburg, Indiana, and Tina Crowe and her husband Dale of Lexington, Indiana. Her life will continue through the laughter and innocence of her eight grandchildren, who will carry her spirit forward as they grow.

Angela is now reunited with those she cherished who have passed before her—her husband of 19 years, David W. Crowe; her father, Herbert Jent Sr.; her mother, Emma Lewis Jent; her son, Joshua Bundy; her brother, Herbert Jent Jr.; her sister, Loretta Doane; and two grandchildren, Baby Stickles and Baby Crowe. Each of them held a piece of her heart, and together, they remain an everlasting presence in her family's collective memory.

Her services will be held on April 29, 2025, at Christensen - Hoagland Family Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana, where we will gather for visitation from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service that starts at 2:00 PM—a time for stories, tears, and joyful remembrance of a truly remarkable life.
