Bonnie Lou Mikel Dasti, age 68, a resident of Seymour, Indiana, left this world peacefully on July 3, 2025, at the Covered Bridge Health Campus. Born on May 5, 1957, in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Bonnie was a beacon of love and kindness throughout her life and will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A proud graduate of Seymour High School, class of 1975, Bonnie's sweet nature and willingness to help others were reflective of her nurturing spirit. She had a unique gift for making everyone feel welcome and loved, always embracing opportunities to spend time with friends and family. Her generous heart meant she was open to anything that brought joy to those she cared about.

Bonnie's hobbies were as vibrant and diverse as her personality. She was not just a devoted mother and sister but also an avid writer, having authored her own book titled "Kings Road." Her love for cooking was evident in the delicious breads, pies, homemade noodles, and roasts that would bring everyone together at her table. Bonnie also found joy in fishing and dancing, and she passionately engaged in genealogy, weaving the stories of her family into a beautiful tapestry of heritage.

Her family meant everything to her, encompassing her son Jayme Mikel and daughter Amanda Mikel, both from Seymour, Indiana. Bonnie took immense pride in her role as a mother and adored each of her eight grandchildren, whose laughter and happiness filled her heart with joy. Additionally, Bonnie shared a special bond with her sister Tomalene Gilpin, who survived her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Thomas Mikel and Katie King Mikel, a daughter, Tiffany Bowles, and a sister Ruth Ann Edmonds who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms into the next life.

Bonnie Lou Mikel Dasti's legacy is built not only on the memories she created but also on the love she shared so freely.
