Christina Anne Nelson

Christina Anne "Hollywood" (Isley) Nelson, age 44, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at her residence. She was born on January 27, 1982 to Terry Galbraith of Seymour, Indiana and Tina (Isley) Blythe of Medora, Indiana. She was a Christian by faith. 

Christina will forever be remembered as an outgoing, sweet lady with a heart of gold towards people and those that she loved. She loved to talk and get to know people and invested in them by always asking "are you ok?" with a genuine concern for them. She was known by those that knew her best as "Hollywood", because she always took great pride in her appearance, always making sure she was ready for any occasion. She loved her family dearly and especially loved her nieces and nephews and being "Mimi" to her grandbaby. She enjoyed all types of music and the fun that comes with bingo and scratch off lottery tickets. Christina was a beautiful soul that will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her and each life that she touched in her own special way. 

She is survived by her father, Terry Galbraith and his wife Kim of Seymour, Indiana and Tina (Isley) Blythe of Medora, Indiana. One daughter, Kiya (Capps) Lesnet of Henryville, Indiana. Three sons, Cody Nelson of Mississippi, Conner Capps of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Tristen Lee of Seymour, Indiana. One brother, Jason Davis of Seymour, Indiana. Three sisters, Shawna Couch and her husband Larry of Henryville, Indiana, Heather Boicourt and her husband Nathan of Seymour, Indiana and Natasha Gibson and her husband Sidney Netherton of Scottsburg, Indiana. One grandchild, Mason Lesnet.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Chris Davis and one sister, Amanda Davis.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Christensen Family Funeral Home  - Winklepleck Chapel in Brownstown, Indiana. Visitation will resume on Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home with funeral services beginning at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest immediately following funeral services at Fairview Cemetery.

The family requests memorials  be directed to Teen Challenge or a recovery ministry of choice.
