David Lee Wingler, age 65 of Vallonia, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Schneck Medical Centre. Born July 22, 1952 in Seymour, he was the son of Roscoe and Audra Ann (Miller) Wingler.
David was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Vallonia Christian Church. He loved operating heavy equipment and had most recently worked for Hauer’s Excavation. David also was a truck driver for 21 years having worked for Sumpter Trucking. He enjoyed classic cars, fishing and mushroom hunting.
Survivors include his children, Myssi Bryant, Carolee Garrett, Jamie Wingler, Kim Woodson-Johnson and Alice Farris; siblings, Rick Wingler, Deb Lynn, Gary (Cheryl) Wingler, Peg (Norm) Conley; mother of his child, Tina Wingler. David also had 15 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
Pastors Chris Criminger and Scott Erwin will conduct services at 6:00pm on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Vallonia Christian Church. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until service time. Private burial will follow at a later date in Vallonia Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
