Deborah "Mama Debbie" Faye (Miller) Jones, age 65, born on April 21, 1961 to the late Rev. James Miller and the late Agnes (Russell) Miller, passed away on Thursday July 9, 2026 at her residence surrounded by the love of her family. She was a 1980 graduate of Brownstown High School. Deborah was a passionate worshipper and loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart. She was a faithful member of Full Gospel Apostolic Tabernacle in Ewing, Indiana where she played the piano for over 50 years. Deborah was an excellent cook with breaded tenderloin, chicken and dumplings and rhubarb dumplings as family favorites. Her cooking skills led her to serve as caterer for several events. She was especially known for her pies with coconut cream and peanut butter pie being among her most popular. 

Deborah was goal driven, and knew how to run a business. She was successful in her endeavors and passed her passions down to her son. She knew what to look for when working with antiques, auctions, flea markets and rummage sales. Above all, her family was her world, and adored her grandchildren with a deep love. 

Deborah is survived by her husband, Tony Jones of Brownstown, Indiana, one son, Stephen Jones and his wife Angela of Solsberry, Indiana. Two daughters, Jessica Wingler and her husband Shane of Kosuth, Indiana and Toni Sue Shuler of Retreat, Indiana. Three brothers, Donald Miller and his wife Cathy of Seymour, Indiana, Billy Miller of Seymour, Indiana, Roger Miller and his wife Faye of Bloomington, Indiana. One sister, Sandra Caudill of Seymour, Indiana. Eight grandchildren, Clarissa VanArsdale and her husband Silas, Noah Jones, Hunter Sloan, Olivia Jones, Emmalyn Jones, Charity Hodge, Ervin Morris and Nicholas Wingler. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years and the father of her son, Paul Jones, two brothers, Johnny Miller and Ronnie Miller. Three sisters, Darlene Monroe, Rebecca Wheeler and Brenda Allman. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday July 16, 2026 from 5:00PM until 8:00 PM at Christensen Family Funeral Home  - Winklepleck Chapel in Brownstown, Indiana. Visitation will resume on Friday July 17, 2026 from 10:00AM until 1:00PM at the funeral home with funeral services beginning at 1:00PM. Rev. Paul Bonney will officiate. She will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Brownstown, Indiana.

The family requests memorial donations be directed to Anew Hospice and they give their heartfelt gratitude for their excellent care of their mother.
