Denny Lee Brock, a husband, father, brother, and friend, left this world on January 21, 2026, surrounded by his family in his home. Born on January 15, 1960, in the quaint town of Bedford, Indiana.
A graduate of Brownstown High School in 1978, Denny forged a path in the practical world as a sawmill operator. Yet, it was not merely the rings of wood that captured his heart but the thrill of discovery and treasure-hunting that truly defined him. With an adventurous spirit, he frequented flea markets, rummage sales, and embraced the art of metal detecting, finding joy in uncovering hidden gems to share with others. His enthusiasm extended to the digital realm as well, where he reveled in video gaming and nurtured a fascinating collection of coins, echoing his love for the hunt.
Denny was known for his ornery charm and striking humor, a funny guy with a strong will, captivating those around him with anecdotes and laughter. He was devotedly proud of his grandbabies, embracing each moment with zeal and tenderness. His infectious personality and love for life were balanced by the values and lessons learned from his parents, Ingram "IG" Brock and Sherry Hall Barrett, whose memories continue to inspire.
His legacy endures now through his wife, Debbie Gordon Brock, with whom he shared 17 years, and his children: Kris Brock of Hughes Springs, Texas, Tina Brock Moore of Greenville, Ohio, and Kimberly Brock, who along with her husband Brandon Bradies, resides in Idleyld Park, Oregon. His siblings—Dan Brock of Jonesville, Indiana, Kathy Savoy and her husband Chris of Brownstown, Indiana, and Carol Myers and her husband Marty of Brownstown, Indiana.
