Edward Lee Fluhr Jr., 57 of Medora, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis. Born December 26, 1962 in Seymour he was the son of Edward L. Fluhr Sr. and Florence (Sweet) Powers.
Edward was a member of the Honeytown Christian Church. He was the owner of Fluhr Automotive and Transmission in Medora for 17 years. He loved “big boy toys”; hot rods, motorcycles, four-wheelers and dirt bikes. He enjoyed camping, boating and going to the casino. Edward will be remembered for being sweet, loving, caring and responsible. He was very generous to a fault and was a protector and provider for his family.
Edward leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Carol (Bowman) Fluhr; his daughter Amanda Durham and her husband Brian of Seymour; his sons, Robert Henley and his wife Lisa of Medora and Michael Henley and his wife Carrie of Seymour; his mother Florence Powers of Scottsburg; sisters, Reva Atkins and her husband Richard of Norman, Edna Robbins and her husband Tim of Seymour, Paula Howard and her husband Wally of Salem and Tabita Pfeiffer and her husband Jeremy of Freetown; brothers, Mike Fluhr and his wife Tina of Medora, Andy Fluhr of Clear Springs and Scotty Fluhr of Freetown; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Edward L. Fluhr.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
