Edward Paul Puc, Jr., born on November 12, 1954, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, departed this life on March 24, 2026, at Schneck Medical Center. His passing marks the end of a remarkable journey—a life rich in skill, humor, and genuine connection.

For over two decades, Edward lent his expert craftsmanship as a contractor for Baird Homes, earning widespread recognition for his extraordinary talents as a drywall hanger. His hands, always steady and precise, extended beyond the walls he built; he was also an exceptional woodworker, shaping wood with the same care and dedication that defined his work and his spirit. These weren’t merely tasks for Edward; they were expressions of his identity, his commitment, and the artistry he carried within.

Edward's heart was as expansive as his skills. Known for an unexpected goofiness that could light up any room, he delighted in making people laugh, revealing a side of himself that was warm, approachable, and unmistakably human. His affable nature made him a true people person—someone who cherished community and companionship.

Raised in the faith community of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Columbus, Indiana, Edward carried those roots with him throughout his life, grounding his spirit and guiding his actions with quiet strength.

Beyond his work and faith, Edward was a lover of the outdoors. Camping under open skies, fishing by tranquil waters, and boating with friends—these moments were his treasures, times when his love for nature intertwined effortlessly with the joy of friendship.

Edward is survived by his beloved spouse, Denise M. (Rudeski) Puc;of Brownstown, Indiana, his loving daughter, Amy Puc of Edinburg, Indiana; and sons Andrew Supernovich of Pennsylvania, Michael Kestler of Freetown, Indiana, Matthew Haywood of Pennsylvania, and Tony Puc Bridges of Brownstown, Indiana. Though sorrowful, they carry on the legacy of his enduring spirit. By their side stand his sisters, Carol Thomas and her husband Chuck of Pennsylvania, Mimi Puc Morrison and her husband Jim of Pennsylvania and David Puc and his wife Karen of White Oak, Pennsylvania each a living testament to the bonds Edward treasured. Among those who continue in his lineage are his thirteen grandchildren, each a precious reflection of his love and warmth.

Edward's legacy is marked by those who have passed before him: his father, Edward Puc Sr.; his mother, Mary Walterman Puc; his son, Rodger Haywood; and his sister, Judy Kolesky. They now rest in union with him beyond this world.

The story of Edward Paul Puc, Jr. is one sculpted with patience, imbued with laughter, and anchored by love. His memory will linger in the halls he helped build, in the handcrafted wood that bore his touch, and in the hearts of all who knew his unexpected humor and magnetic affability. In every thoughtful gesture and every smile remembered, Edward remains wonderfully present—a man whose life, though concluded, continues to inspire and endure.

The family has chosen cremation, and arrangements have been entrusted to Daniel and Betsy Christensen.
