Elizabeth Jane Gregg

Elizabeth Jane (Byrkett) Gregg, age 78, of Seymour, Indiana, and the daughter of the late Russell and Versa (Mink) Byrkett, was born on September 11, 1947, in Lebanon, Indiana. On April 11, 1968, she was united in marriage to Larry Gregg, and they enjoyed 58 wonderful years together. For most of her life, she was a housekeeper, taking great pride in creating clean and comfortable spaces for others to enjoy. Elizabeth was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 1925 Auxiliary and enjoyed watching “The Young and the Restless.” More than anything, she dearly loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Gregg passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at her residence, with her loving family by her side.

Her life will be cherished by her husband, Larry Gregg of Seymour; her son, Russell Dale Gregg, and his wife, Bridgett of Seymour; her daughter, Angela Black of Seymour; and four grandchildren: Landen Gregg, Nathan Black, Brandon Black, and Meagan Black. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Versa Byrkett.

Honoring her wishes, cremation was chosen, and no services will be held.
