A devoted homemaker and friend to many, Ann worked as a clerk at JayC Foods, where she greeted everyone with a smile. Her joyful spirit was evident in her personality; she was always happy to see everyone, making every encounter feel special. Ann's education at Deputy High School of Jefferson County laid the foundation for a life rich in community engagement and personal connection.

She possessed an unwavering passion for hobbies that reflected her creative spirit, particularly in quilting, crocheting, and baking. Known for her delicious cherry delight, Ann delighted family and friends with her culinary creations. Her favorite flowers were yellow roses, reflecting her sunny disposition and love for life.

She also leaves behind her dear brother, Jim Hoard and his wife Eula of Lexington, Indiana; her sister, Mary Duckwall of Mexico, Maine; and her sister Rose Fergison and her husband Bob of Lexington, Indiana. Ann was a proud grandmother to Michael Spicer and Robert Briddle, who will carry forward her legacy of love and joy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. Briddle; her parents, John and Mable Jennings Hoard; her brothers, John David Hoard and Richard Hoard; her sister Lucille Walters; and her grandchildren, Matthew Spicer and Zatha Briddle. The love Ann shared with her family and friends will forever remain in their hearts.
