Hank Jones

Hank Eugene Jones, age 69, a native of Corbin, Kentucky and a resident of Seymour, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at his residence. He was born on May 2, 1954 to the late Fred Jones and the late Jacqueline (Root) Jones. He was a member of First Church Of God and an employee of Toyota for over 25 years. 

Hank loved people and was a big cut up and loved to pull pranks. Everyone respected him for his high work ethic. He enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, bluegrass music and working in his yard. Above all else, he loved his family dearly.

He is survived by his wife of over 38 years, Lula M. (Helton) Jones, one son, Charles Raby and his wife Donna of Crothersville, Indiana, two daughters, Jacqueline Rose Jones of Scottsburg, Indiana and Crystal Dailey and her husband Kerry of Alabama. Two brothers, Tommy Jones and his wife Patty of Ohio and Darryl Jones of Mitchell, Indiana. Two sisters, Julie Thompson, Carolyn Berling, both of Ohio, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Rosie Holt and Linda Stammel.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Christensen Family Funeral Home - Seymour Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor George Hamlin officiating.
