EDUCATION:  graduate of Scottsburg High School, Butler University & Lexington Theological Seminary.

OCCUPATION: 1948-1949 was a visiting instructor at Union Theological Seminary in New York; during the mid l940's & early 1950's she served as Kentucky State Children's Worker for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Lexington KY; elementary school teacher with Scott County School District #2 teaching first grade at
Scottsburg Elementary and second grade at Vienna Elementary; also volunteered as a reading tutor during her
teaching career and into retirement as well as a volunteer tutor with children with learning disabilities.

MEMBERSHIPS:  Scottsburg United Methodist Church; Scott County Retired Teachers' Association;
65 year member of  Fellowship of Reconciliation;  Scott County Farm Bureau.

MARRIAGE:  Harvey Comer on February 6 1952. He preceded her in death May 8 2003
