Helen Louise Hilderbrand

Helen Louise Hilderbrand, age 96, of Easyville, Indiana,  passed away on Sunday June 1, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 29, 1929 in Houston, Indiana and was the daughter of Michael Matthew Richardson & Lillie Mae Richardson and raised by foster parents Robert Elson Thompson & Mary Rosella Thompson. For most of her life, she was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother of five and doting grandmother to many. She was a life time member of Easyville Church of Jesus Christ where she served on the church board and also served many years as treasurer of Hickory Grove Church.

Survivors include her children, Alice Arnell (Ronald) Standiford, Faye (Roger) Miller, June (Todd) Raper, Vesta Seville and William Harold Hilderbrand. She was blessed to have 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren & 17 great great grandchildren.  Besides her beloved husband, of 68 years, William John Hilderbrand, she was preceded in death by 7 sisters, 1 brother & a grandson. 

The family will receive friends at Easyville Church of Jesus Christ on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM with services beginning at 1:00 PM at the church.  Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery. 

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Easyville Church of Jesus Christ.
